It's just warm enough on those cool mornings, and also works well as a secondary layer Unknown on 27th Dec 2021
I have always liked Predator Camo but had trouble finding the right fit. I was looking for an early season jacket that I could wear when when the days start and end in the 40’s-50’s but get up into the 70’s.
After hearing great things about Predator’s new garments and talking over the sizing with Jen, I decided to give this jacket a try. I have worn it during cool evenings in the low 60’s - upper 50’s shooting my bow with just a t-shirt underneath and it was great. I don’t see any trouble wearing it down to 50 and maybe even upper 40’s with my merino wool base layers. The Brown Deception pattern looks great and will work all fall on the ground or in a tree. I just need to get the matching pants now!
For size reference, I am 5’6”, 200 lb and went with an XL. The fit is perfect. It isn’t too big on its own but has enough room for a couple base layers. While this may not have been specifically designed for treestand hunters, adding a safety harness pass through in the back would be my only suggestion.
Predator has definitely stepped it up with this series. Can’t thank Jen enough for answering all of my questions. Great customer service goes a long way! Jeremy on 24th Sep 2021
This jacket feel incredible and is quiet while moving. It will work very well this fall. Size is pretty much spot on I am 5' 10" and weight 192 with a 45" chest. After talking to Jen, I ordered an XL and it fits perfect. Great customer service and another great lightweight jacket. Mark T. on 6th Jul 2021
This is one of my favorites, its perfect for early season when the mornings can have a chill in the air. With the coating they put on other suits it repels water with ease. Very well put together the stitching seems to be very durable and it fits true to size. If you're looking for that lightweight yet durable jacket to add to your collection look no further than this one. Customer service is top notch. If you have any questions just ask Jen she'll take care of you. Mark VanMeter II on 4th May 2021
This jacket is perfect for the warmer days of turkey hunting. It has that tight performance garmet fit. I love the freedom of movement while it hugs my body!
I would definitely recommend this jacket. Michael Langrehr on 9th Apr 2021
The Alpine Jacket is all around great from the fit, material and comfort! Slade on 16th Nov 2020
The fit of the alpine jacket is spot on. ! I am 6ft 1in 190 lbs and the jacket fits perfect, length is great sleeves are not too short or long great fit. I have a couple older pieces of Predator and always had to order size up, not with this. A great product from Predator ! Jeffrey James on 16th Oct 2020
This jacket is put together very well. The seems are sewn tight and multiple stitched. Sleeves are long enough and there is no bind across the shoulders while drawing a bow. The material is quiet and flexible which is great for bowhunting. Size is pretty spot on. I normally wear a large in a jacket so ordered a large. It’s a smidge snug when first put on but after about 10 minutes of wearing it settled in to a perfect fit. I guess it’s like anything new or first worn, takes a bit to work the fibers tight and fit right. The zipper is solid and well sewn too. I think the light weight fleece lining might be a little to warm for Deep South opener but that’s pretty much the case with anything you wear down here. I recommend this jacket to anyone wanting a quality product that fits right and should be a great addition when the temp gets do to about 60 or so. Original Recipe on 29th Aug 2020
This jacket is going to be just what the Dr ordered for those early season mornings when the dew sets and there's just a chill in the air. In a light rain with the DWR coating that Predator is known to put on other series, it will repel light rain too. Size runs pretty much true to fit. I wear a large and ordered a large, fit is spot on with just enough room for a tee shirt. I test fit the stuff-ability into the back pack and it fits nicely and gives no noticeable weight. I am looking forward to taking this along on the mornings that are a touch cooler but not cool enough to warrant a heavier option. The outer material is going to be way more snag resistant than the Adrenaline series which i have now. This will be a great replacement to that series. Good job Predator and to Jen as well for knowing the sizes and how they fit. Mark T. on 19th Aug 2020
