I love these pants and I love predators sizing. I recently lost weight and am wearing 30 waist pants. It's hard to find pants to fit me and a lot of companies don't seem to make anything smaller than a 32. And a lot of them are cut closer to a 34. I just followed Predators sizing chart and they are a perfect fit. Gerald on 31st Aug 2023
Haven't had a chance to wear them in the woods yet. In the 90's. But have worn them around the house. Super comfortable, super quiet and love the camo. Been buying Predator for years and won't settle for anything else. Have had elk and deer literally feet from me many times. They look straight through me. John on 16th Aug 2023
This is a great pant and very comfortable. Looking to purchase more in different patterns Unknown on 6th Jun 2023
These pants are very comfortable. I will say that the legs are a little bit tight but not too tight. As everyone knows the sizing of Predator pants is inconsistent and a bit off. I recently bought a pair of Special Hiking Pants and Alpine Pants, both size 36 for waist sizes 34-35. The Special Hiking Pants fit perfectly in the waist but are very baggy in the legs. The same-sized Alpine Pants are a bit big in the waist and just a bit tight in the legs. Very inconsistent with sizing. Unknown on 13th Oct 2022
Montana elk hunter here. I wore these from late archery through mid-rifle (Nov), in everything from hot days to a pretty decent blizzard. I packed my bull out through snaggy deadfall and undergrowth. With the weather and night, I was without the ability or time for caution on choosing a path. I was surprised how well these pants held up being thrashed through the brush like that. I also like their fit and find this level of insulation was just about right to not overheat, but also keep you relatively warm without the need of layers so long as you are actively hunting. I'm not a tree stand guy so no comment there.
You can spend a lot more, but I doubt you can improve much in terms of performance. Reid on 9th Sep 2022
Can't wait to use these opening day. Along with the jacket they repel showers and the water just beads off them. Pant are light weight and should hold up well walking through some of the briers on the edges of the fields getting to the stand. Original recipe on 10th Aug 2022
Fit is fine, size is accurate, quality product, have not used it yet, Elk hunt in Sept will be the first. Joe Witmer on 9th Aug 2022
I have always liked Predator Camo but struggled with the fit. After hearing good things about their newer items I decided to give the Alpine jacket a try. You can read my review of it under that item.
I was so impressed with the jacket that I had to give the pants a try. I discussed the sizing with Jen and compared to my favorite jeans which are 34x30 Levi’s. I ended up going with the “38”. They come in a 34” length so for my height I knew they would be a little long. However, with my hunting boots they’re fine and I like that they do not ride up when sitting or taking longer steps. Otherwise, as with the jacket the fit is spot on, thanks to the great customer service.
The quality is right there with the jacket and the pattern is great as usual. The fabric is soft and while not completely silent it is definitely quiet enough for close range bowhunting. I wore them out on a quick hunt and found that the grid fleece was just enough for the mid 50’s weather without any base layers. I truly think with the right base layers this outfit will work great for me from the mid 40’s to 70’s, possibly even the lower 40’s.
The hand pockets are nice and deep, no danger of losing stuff. The two cargo pockets are up high where I like them with good flaps and quality zippers that are easy to open and close with one hand. The gripper band inside the waist helps keep them in place and prevent tucked in shirts from coming out.
Predator hit a home run with the Alpine series and their customer service is top notch! Jeremy on 27th Oct 2021
I can't say enough good things about these pants, they should hold up very well along with the jacket. True to size and very comfortable. Great for mornings that are a tad chilly and need a bit more but not too much. Made very well and the customer service is top notch, Jen will help you get the right size if you are unsure. Stitching seems solid and shouldn't break , very quiet material. I recommend these pants along with the matching jacket for bow season Extra Crispy on 27th Jul 2021
Should serve the purpose for early season. Putting them on to give them the once over test I squatted down to check crotch stitching and knee area for binding. Both are good. Stitching is solid and should hold up well. The fabric is smooth and resisted burrs and seeds from sticking while walking field edges checking cameras. Fit and feel is really good. They are soft against the skin and quiet while moving, a must for bow season. I recommend these pant to anyone considering an early season hunting suit. Mark T. on 26th May 2021
