Introducing the highly-anticipated AirStream Jacket by Predator Camo! Over two years of meticulous thought have gone into the fit, feel and functionality of this incredibly lightweight, ultra-warm and extremely packable mid-to-outer layer insulated piece.

Once again we took advantage of the best insulation available – PrimaLoft Gold Active – which is engineered with 4-way stretch capability to aid in full recovery for uncompromised freedom of movement, it absorbs less moisture to stay dryer and warmer, it utilizes 45% recycled content and is super compressible for easy packing.

The super-soft outer shell and inner lining are both composed of 4-way stretch Nylon Ripstop fabrics that ensure full range of motion and simplistic layering underneath or over top.

    • 100% Nylon Ripstop that is 4-way stretch
    • Breathable by encouraging the passage of moisture to keep you from becoming cold and clammy
    • Insulated mid to outer layer

    1. Best Piece of Predator Gear to Date

This jacket is basically a perfect piece. Only missing pit zips. 17oz. in size Small. Very similar to Kuiu Kenai. My Kenai is 14oz. in size Small, and body mapped insulation. Otherwise they are basically the same jacket. Can't believe I waited so long to try this piece, but I'm sure glad I did. I'll be taking it as a layering piece on most whitetail hunts.

Great job Predator, let's see more modern pieces like this one! Would love if you made some airstream 3/4 length full side zip pants to complete this set. Also would love to start seeing some higher side zips on the outer layer pants like stealth micro fleece and g2 so we can get them on over boots.

    2. MUST HAVE IN EVERY PACK

I hunt in some pretty rough country and sometimes I go way back to get away from people. So lite weight is key. I’m not a fan of soft coats in the woods but after getting this coat it never leaves my pack unless I’m wearing it and washing it. It so lite and it folds into its own hood. You won’t even know it’s there. You can’t take this coat through a bunch of blackberry bush’s but if you wear this under another coat you will be so warm you won’t believe it. I wish it came in a few different colors, but that’s my only complaint. I’ve taken this coat all over the world from hunting to back country hiking to fishing to snowboarding and everything in between. It’s incredible. Buy it, you won’t be cold again lol. on 13th Jun 2022

    3. Almost perfect

Super light. Super compact. Super warm. The absolute best mid layer. Would have gotten 5 stars but only comes in 1 patten. on 24th Mar 2022

    4. Finally

Finally, Predator got it right with ultra light weight and superior level insulation. This piece is perfect for layering and is light and compact to stuff in a backpack when not needed. Stika has a rival with this piece, not to mention the pattern blows theirs in the weeds. Now to get one in Fall Gray....hint hint. on 20th Feb 2022

    5. follow up review

This a follow up review to the one i did last Christmas. Now that the Ky deer bow season has officially kicked off i can review the jacket as an outer layer vs a layering jacket only. Opening morning was 53 degrees. I wore a performance tee and this jacket only. The jacket was fantastic in this temp. As the morning warmed up to the mid 60's it was still spot on and not to warm to remove. I find that wearing a heavier jacket in the morning causes the need to remove as the morning heats up. Lotta excessive movement on stand taking off a jacket. No need to remove with this Air Stream jacket. The material is soft and breaths well so there is no excess sweat as the morning warms up. The jacket is a very nice addition to my early season clothing and will be used even more as the early days of October approach with their temp being right there in the 50-60's. Just wanted to follow up with a review after having actually used the jacket as intended as a light weight outer layer. Spot on for what it is for and the temp rating is very accurate. I said in first review and will reiterate again, dont go dragging yourself through briers wearing it or start playing with your cat, Crash, as it will get snagged and pull threads out. Nice job Predator. I like the jacket even more now than i did last Christmas when using it as a mid level layering item. on 14th Sep 2020

    6. Very light weight and deceivingly warm

This jacket is the perfect mid layering item. I wore it under the micro fleece jacket for some late season predator hunting in near zero temps. With all the walking and setting up, I never got cold or sweaty. As the day warmed up I removed it and stuffed it into the pack. It took almost no room and is so light you didnt know it was there. Pocket lay out is perfect with four, 2 chest and 2 hand warmer with all zippered so nothing falls out. On the long trek back to the truck I put this jacket on vs the heavier weighted fleece and it was perfect. Comfort rating, I'm guessing is pretty close to being spot on. It is a perfect light weight mid layer and serves this purpose well. It should perform well in the mid season for whitetail as a stand alone garment. Size is spot on and Predator got this one right regarding fit. The hood is a great touch and form fits the face without restricting your side view. I highly recommend this jacket to all serious hunters. The Primaloft Gold is exceptional at what it does. Thanks Frank and Jen for getting this one added to the line up. Quality all the way through. on 9th Feb 2020

    7. Outstanding quality with Primaloft Gold

The material and Primaloft Gold is top notch and outstanding quality. Pockets are well placed and user friendly. Riding a 4 wheeler at 30 mph shows no wind through the jacket. The weight is super light and you dont even know you are wearing a jacket. Hunting in 40 degree weather the jacket was perfect with the grid fleece shirt on underneath. Once it got into the 50's the performance Tee is all you need. The hood is well designed and does not block side to side view when turning your head. Do not try and use the hood unless your harness is on the outside. The entire jacket will stuff into a cargo pocket and compresses well. More patterns are needed other than just Deception Brown. I would not recommend wearing this jacket if you will encounter chest or waist high briars as they will ruin this material. If you must trudge through them to get where you are going, pack it in and put it on after clearing that type of vegetation. The jacket could stand to be about 2" longer in the tail to avoid riding up when sitting. Fit is perfect. I wear a LG to XL jacket normally, I got this one in XL and it's not to tight or too loose. I would recommend this jacket to anyone serious about weight and wanting the lightest and best insulation possible. Cost is a hurt point but you cant get this type of quality of Primaloft Gold cheap. Great addition to the Predator lineup. on 27th Dec 2019
