I’m very happy with this purchase. They are what I’m going to call an athletic cut. I’m 5’9” 165 and purchased a large because they were out of mediums. I really like the fit but most larges have more room in the legs.
Also, big shout out to Jen. She ships all of our orders and follows up on all of our gripes. My order got here surprisingly fast, just like all of my past orders, and she responded to emails about another order. She’s top notch. Thanks Jen. Ed H on 14th Dec 2020
The bibs look like they will be great. I love that they add pockets on the thighs...great spot to warm hands without letting go of your weapon while seated or adding a heat pack. But be aware of sizing! As usual, predators cut is very tight. Go up at least 2 sizes than your normal. If you go only one, no room in legs for layers. I don't know why Predator won't solve this for all their products...they are so close to perfect. Come on guys, a little more fabric in the arms, legs and seat and you've got perfection! Awesome, really awesome! Warm, quiet, highly functional, and lightweight. Best bibs I have purchased! I am 6 foot 3 and 270 lbs and got an excellent fit with the 2xl. Thank you Predator! DJ on 4th Nov 2020
I’ve thoroughly tested the Ambush jacket and bibs in cold temps. This suit is very lightweight but Is exceedingly warm. In 35 degrees with a decent wind blowing (10mph +/-) I was very warm with only this suit, a single layer sweat-pant and sweatshirt. This suit has proven to be the perfect cold weather defense against being uncomfortable. I purchased XL 6’3” 205#) and I have plenty room and feel no restriction. Tim Bannen on 2nd Oct 2020
These are the warmest bibs I've even owned, if you want to be warm in the very cold single digits theses are for you and no need to layer up so you cant draw your bow. I stayed very warm on the coldest days in the stand with just a base layer these bibs and the ambush jacket, by far the warmest I've ever been. You will not regret buying these if you plain on hunting on the very cold days. Price is a bit steep but worth every penny In my opinion Mark V. II on 12th Aug 2020
Ok I bought these bibs hoping my October November 2019 Deer hunting would be a good experience
i didn't get to use them in October cause like the rest of the US it was a warm bow season in New York.
Come the first week of November 2019 it changed in a big way. Early morning in upstate New York was very cold for the first week of November. with temps in the low double digits i was very comfortable. all day in tree stand all day in ladder stand even with the wind and snow these bibs came through
i am a big guy 6'5' 255. i layer up so I suggest a 3X size for the big guys out there. very comfortable just one base layer and i was fine even in wind 15 mph
These bibs will be a good investment
Zippers that let you inside and a hand muff of good size
i give them a 10 Unknown on 13th Jan 2020
I bought these bibs (in brown deception) last week for a week of bowhunting in WV. I am very impressed with the bibs. I was sceptical at first about the camo pattern. Let's just say that I am a believer now. Great pattern. I have been in the stand everyday for a week and not a single deer made me out. I had them look once or twice but that's it. Never once did they seem to care. I cant say the same for other patterns that I have owned. Very impressed with this pattern.
The coldest temps this week has been in the low 20's and the bubs kept me warm. Lightweight and warm is the way it should be. I wear XL but bought the 2X because I was at the high end of the XL measurement sizing. Has some extra room but works. XL would've been perfect.
As far as quietness goes, it isn't silent by any means. I have owned dead silent clothing and this isn't. It does have a soft outer and inner shell but I can hear it rubbing together when I draw my bow. Very little noise though but noise. WV bowhunter on 22nd Nov 2019
If you ever have the need for warmth, this is the series for you. Single digit wind chill finishing out the season and I only had a good pair of long handle underwear on underneath these bibs. Fit is perfect, I wear an XL and speaking with Jen, she figured out that's what I would be needing. The short leg zippers make it easy to get the boots laced up. They are not full length leg zippers so don't think you're gonna put on some huge clod hoppers and stuff your boot down the leg and zip it up. That's not how they are constructed and not the intent of the zippers. Shorter zippers make for a warmer suit and that's where they axcel. Great job Jen. I'll be ordering more Predator for sure. This is by far the best bibs I've ever used, I have never been so warm hunting in 8 degree weather with just a thermal base layer and this pair of bibs paired with the Ambush jacket. I love how the zipper comes up the right side instead of in the front like most every other bibs on the market. I literally am not messing around best suite combo out there. Thank you Jen for your excellent customer service and great products. Extra Crispy on 24th Jan 2019
I usually wear a Medium and have a 30" waist. I'm 5'8" with an athletic build. I ordered these bibs in a Large and they fit nicely. I have room for a base layer and a mid layer if needed. They are very comfortable in the stand and quiet enough for bowhunting. The pocket layout is nice as well. The only thing I would like to see is side zippers that go up to the hip instead of the knee. I can still get my boots through but it is a bit of a struggle due to the material of the fabric used. A larger opening would solve that. I plan on wearing these from late Oct through Jan and hope to test them in some difficult weather along the way. Unknown on 26th Dec 2018
